Overview
Australian-owned iSeek provides enterprise cloud, robust data centres, managed connectivity solutions and multi-provider internet services to the corporate and government sectors and required a larger facility to meet demand.
Working with iSeek, Brisbane Airport constructed a 3,250sqm facility adjacent to their existing lease that set new benchmarks for security, power efficiency, capacity and connectivity.
The data centre is certified under a global system as Uptime Institute Tier 4, the highest standard for reliability.
It also incorporates sustainability features including energy efficiency, LED lighting and free cooling.
The extension complements iSeek’s existing 2,690sqm facility which was named ‘Queensland Development of the Year’ at the 2012 Property Council of Australia Innovation and Excellence Awards, recognising it as the most architecturally significant and energy efficient data centre in Australia.
