The ID and Access Centre will be closed from 3pm Monday the 23rd of December, and will reopen for appointments on 7am Friday the 3rd of January 2025.
The Veritas office will be closed from 12pm AWST, Friday 20th December 2024 and will reopen 8am AWST, Monday 6th January 2025. However, Veritas will continue to accept applications over the holidays online. For any application enquiries, please contact @email.

What is an ASIC?
Anyone who works at Brisbane Airport and has an operational need for unescorted access through security sensitive areas of the airport must have an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). This is a requirement of Australian Aviation legislation. ASIC cardholders undergo an extensive background check to ensure their suitability to operate in secure areas of the airport.

Veritas is the issuing body for ASICs for the employees of companies who provide services at Brisbane Airport.
Veritas provides a simple three-step process:
- Complete and lodge the ASIC application (including Security Awareness Training) online.
- Verify your original identity documents at an authorised Agent or Australia Post Outlet.
- Once your ASIC is approved, Veritas will print it and distribute it to you through the mail at an address of your choosing. You will then follow the activation instructions that will come with your card. Access will be remotely enabled based on your operational need.
