The Brisbane Airport Community Aviation Consultation Group (BACACG) is a consultative forum designed to bring together government, the aviation industry, and the community to discuss a range of topics including aircraft noise, airport developments, airport operations and Terminal access.
The Community representatives are nominated by the elected members of government under the BACACG Terms of Reference which you can find on the tab below. The group is independently Chaired by Nigel Chamier, AM. The BACACG meets four times per year.

Technical Airspace Design Workshop
Following on from an action arising out of the November 2020 BACACG meeting, a Technical Airspace Design Workshop was held on Wednesday 24 February 2021, with representatives in attendance from BAC, Airservices Australia, Virgin Australia, the Aircraft Noise Ombudsmen, BACACG, the Brisbane Flight Path Community Alliance and the broader community.

Airservices Australia
If your enquiry is in relations to flight paths, aircraft noise, or you wish to make a formal complaint, please contact Airservices Australia.
Airservices Australia is the body that manages all commercial air traffic control in Australia. They are responsible for Australia's airspace management, flight paths, providing noise information and managing complaints.
Airservices Australia manages complaints and enquiries about aircraft noise and operations through their dedicated Noise Complaints and Information Services (NCIS).

Aircraftnoise.com.au
The Aircraftnoise.com.au website is an initiative of Airservices Australia and the Australian Airports Association and is supported by the Aircraft Noise Ombudsman and aviation industry. This website provides information on the causes of aircraft noise, how the industry is working together and what people can do to reduce its impact.

Aircraft Noise Ombudsman
The Aircraft Noise Ombudsman (ANO) conducts independent reviews of Airservices Australia's management of aircraft noise-related activities, including the handling of complaints or enquiries made to Airservices Australia about aircraft noise, the community consultation processes related to aircraft noise and the presentation and distribution of aircraft noise-related information.
Government regulations
In December 2010 the Federal Government made amendments to the Airports Act 1996 which strengthen the requirements for airport master plans. The Government released these guidelines to assist airports in meeting the new requirements.
